ORIGINALITY (30 Points)

The project aims to develop a new technology, a new scientific method, or a new conceptual/theoretical framework.The project has the potential to be published in journals or books indexed in international databases.The originality of the project has been demonstrated through a comprehensive literature review.The hypotheses have been carefully formulated to investigate the research topic, and alternative approaches have been considered.The explanation and analysis of the expected outcomes clearly demonstrate the project's superiority over the existing literature and current scientific and technological knowledge.The proposal accurately identifies gaps in the current literature/science and technology and/or weaknesses, deficiencies, or errors in existing theories and methods.The literature review clearly defines the current state of scientific and technological knowledge related to the research topic and explicitly identifies the objectives and hypotheses showing how the project will advance beyond the current level.The project has the potential to be presented at international symposiums, congresses, and conferences.

IMPACT (30 Points)

FEASIBILITY (30 Points)

The infrastructure, environment, and facilities of the unit where the project will be conducted are adequate.Any additional equipment requested within the project scope is compatible with the existing infrastructure and project objectives.The requested equipment is suitable for long-term use and can support multiple projects.The methods have been clearly and accurately described (detailed procedures are not required), and/or appropriate references to the literature or standard methodologies have been provided.The selected methods include the necessary variables to test the proposed hypotheses.Alternative approaches (contingency plans or “Plan B”) have been considered in case the selected methods do not yield the expected progress.The research design and selected methods are appropriate for achieving the stated objectives.
