October 29 Republic Day Celebrated with Great Enthusiasm in Bandırma

The 102nd anniversary of the Republic was celebrated with great enthusiasm and pride in Bandırma, as in all parts of the country.

A formal ceremony was held at Bandırma Republic Square as part of the Republic Day celebrations. Representing our university, Rector Prof. Dr. İsmail Boz attended the ceremony.
The ceremony began with the laying of wreaths at the Atatürk Monument by the Bandırma District Governorship, the Garrison Command, and the Municipality. This was followed by a moment of silence and the collective singing of the Turkish National Anthem.

The event was attended by Bandırma District Governor Engin Aksakal, 6th Main Jet Base and Garrison Commander Air Pilot Brigadier General Esat Çetin, Bandırma Mayor Dursun Mirza, representatives of political parties and non-governmental organizations, veterans, and a large number of citizens. The ceremony attracted great public interest.
