BANÜ Participated in the Bandırma Technology Festival

The Bandırma Technology Festival, organized to bring together technological and innovative developments with public institutions, the business world, academics, young people, and the people of Bandırma, was launched at Bandırma Cumhuriyet Square.

Coordinated by the South Marmara Technology and Innovation Association, and supported by Bandırma Onyedi Eylül University and Bandırma Municipality, the festival featured booths from numerous institutions and enterprises active in the field of technology. The event offered participants the opportunity to explore innovative projects and follow the latest developments in the technology sector, contributing significantly to Bandırma’s scientific and technological vision.

The opening ceremony was attended by Mayor of Bandırma Dursun Mirza, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Serel, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences Prof. Dr. Abdullah Yeşil, and Director of the Institutional Communication Office Lecturer Muhammet Yörübulut, along with many local residents.

Speaking at the event, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Serel stated, “As Bandırma Onyedi Eylül University, we are very pleased to take part in this festival. Organizing such events in larger, more comprehensive fairgrounds that suit Bandırma’s growing potential would make them even more impactful.”

During the festival, regional companies and institutions delivered presentations showcasing their work. Lecturer Muhammet Yörübulut, Director of our Institutional Communication Office, gave a presentation introducing our University and its activities.

Our University was successfully represented at this meaningful event, which combined technology and innovation with social awareness, reinforcing our commitment to advancing regional and national technological development.
