Our University Continues Its Upward Trend in the URAP Türkiye Rankings

Bandırma Onyedi Eylül University has achieved another remarkable success in the 2025–2026 Türkiye Rankings announced by URAP (University Ranking by Academic Performance), one of the country’s leading academic ranking institutions. Ranked 136th last year, our university rose by 21 places this year to secure the 115th position nationwide.

By consistently enhancing its academic performance, scientific productivity, and quality of education, our university has solidified its position among Türkiye’s rapidly developing and increasingly dynamic higher education institutions.

URAP rankings are determined based on several scientific indicators, including the number of articles published, articles and citations per faculty member, total scientific document output, number of PhD students and graduates, student-to-faculty ratio, number of TÜBİTAK-supported projects, and the rate of national and international co-authored publications. The remarkable improvement of our university in these areas demonstrates its continuous progress and growing academic capacity.

Rector Prof. Dr. İsmail Boz stated that the strong rise of Bandırma Onyedi Eylül University in such a short time is a clear reflection of its commitment to scientific productivity, high-quality education, and a robust research culture. He emphasized that the university’s steadily increasing publication performance, expanding project portfolio, and academic achievements show that this momentum is sustainable. Highlighting that the goal is not merely to climb in the rankings but to make lasting contributions to Türkiye’s scientific advancement and regional development, Prof. Dr. Boz expressed his gratitude to all academics, researchers, and students who contributed to this success.

With its scientific productivity, project-oriented approach, and quality-driven educational philosophy, Bandırma Onyedi Eylül University continues to reach higher goals each year and strengthen its distinguished national and international standing under the vision of being a “Bridge to the Future.”
