Cooperation Protocol Signed Between Bandırma Onyedi Eylül University and The Foundation for Children with Leukemia (LÖSEV)
A cooperation protocol was signed between Bandırma Onyedi Eylül University and The Foundation for Children with Leukemia (LÖSEV) with the aim of enhancing students’ awareness of social responsibility, promoting volunteerism, and strengthening societal awareness.
The signing ceremony, held at the Rectorate Meeting Hall, was attended by Rector Prof. Dr. İsmail Boz, who signed the protocol on behalf of the University, and Aslı Metin Sakarya, Bursa Provincial Coordinator of LÖSEV, who signed on behalf of the Foundation. Also present at the ceremony were Meral Aydın Yıldırım, LÖSEV Public Relations and Corporate Communications Coordinator, and Simge Deniz, staff member of the Fayda Project.
Under the protocol, the parties aim to encourage student participation in volunteer activities; organize events focused on social benefit and social responsibility; conduct awareness campaigns regarding cancer; and implement educational initiatives on healthy living, nutrition, and sports. The agreement also includes support for facilitating LÖSEV’s financial, in-kind, and social assistance to those in need, as well as collaboration opportunities to provide university students with internship placements and professional experience.
We believe that this cooperation, which further strengthens our University’s mission of community engagement, will generate meaningful contributions for our students and all stakeholders, and we wish the protocol every success.
