2025–2026 Academic Year Opening Ceremony to Be Held

A ceremony will be organized at our University to mark the opening of the 2025–2026 Academic Year. As part of the event, the opening lecture will be delivered under the title “Palestine: The Story of the Nakba and Zionism.” The lecture will feature Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rami İbrahim Mahmut and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bilal Toprak from the Faculty of Theology as speakers, and will be moderated by Prof. Dr. Abdullah Hikmet Atan, Dean of the Faculty of Theology.

The event will take place on Monday, October 13, 2025, at 2:30 p.m. in the Prof. Dr. Fuat Sezgin Conference Hall.

All our academic and administrative staff, as well as our students, are cordially invited to this meaningful program, which will highlight the issue of Palestine at the beginning of the new academic year.
